Dr Niall McKay – Male
MBChB MRCGP

Dr Niall McKay has been a GP since 1993. He is the lead managerial partner and has a clinical interest in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injuries and rehabilitation as well as medical education and end of life care. Dr McKay is a GP trainer, so supervises and trains GP registrars within the practice.

Dr Caroline Boshell  – Female
MBChB MRCGP

Dr Caroline Boshell studied medicine as a graduate in Leeds having already completed a degree in Medical Microbiology. She joined the practice in 2008 following completion of her GP training in Nottingham. Alongside Dr McKay, she is one of the GP trainers in the practice. She has previously worked as the Macmillan GP facilitator for end of life care for the Southern Derbyshire CCG and has worked for the contraception and sexual health service in Derby until the end of 2013. Her special interests include palliative and end of life care, collaborative work with care homes, contraception and sexual health and GP training..

Dr Andrew Kitchen – Male

Dr Andrew Kitchen joined the Practice in January 2017.

Dr Harkesh Chahal – Female
MBChB MRCGP DRCOG

Dr Harkesh Chahal qualified in 2009 and completed her GP training in Derby in 2014. She joined the practice in March 2017. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, walking and reading.

Dr Lakhvinder Dhamrait-  Male

Dr Lakhvinder Dhamrait qualified 2015 and completed his GP training in Derby in 2020. He joined the practice in September 2020. In his spare time he enjoys watching football and sports.

Dr Shaanjan Islam – Male
MBBcH MRCGP 

Dr Shaanjan Islam studied medicine in Cardiff University and completed his GP training in Derby in 2021. In his spare time he is an avid follower of mixed martial arts and enjoys listening to electronic music.
